I didn’t set out to build a luxury brand. I set out to share what I grew up with.
My grandmother first planted agarwood seedlings in Huidong, Guangdong, over thirty years ago. What began as careful cultivation has grown into something I now share with the world.
Not every tree produces the resin we need. It takes decades of patience — and a deep understanding of the land. We tend every tree ourselves, from seedling to harvest. No intermediaries. No shortcuts.
The Source
The grove is the heart of everything we do.
Ours is a story of cultivation, not discovery. While others travel to distant forests in search of wild agarwood, we return to our own land — the same grove my grandmother planted three decades ago.
What makes Kynara different is simple: we know exactly where every piece comes from. Each bracelet carries the identity of the tree, the season of harvest, and the hands that shaped it.

We work with a small number of skilled artisans — people who understand the material the way we do.
Each piece is shaped by hand. We don’t rush. We don’t scale. The process is slow by design, because the resin that gives our bracelets their character cannot be hurried.

All agarwood products are cultivated on our family-owned plantation in Huidong, Guangdong, and exported under valid CITES permits (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
